The phlebotomy service at Great Sutton Medical Centre is a convenient and local service that we offer to patients.
The service is available Monday to Friday 08:30 to 11:45.
For safety reasons the phlebotomist can only see 50 patients each morning.
We have noticed that there are times when the service is particularly busy. Monday and Tuesday mornings are very busy and should be avoided where possible. There also seems to be a longer wait time for patients around 11am each day.
You will need a numbered ticket to see the phlebotomist. The numbered tickets will be put out each morning in the main reception area. Once they are gone they are gone and you will not be seen.
So to avoid a long wait or possibly the inconvenience of being turned away, please try to avoid these days and times.
