Primary Care Network
One Ellesmere Port Primary Care Network (PCN) was established in 2018 and is a collaboration of the 6 GP Practices from across the town who are working together to develop better services for our patient population.
Collectively we provide services for approximately 71,000 patients across Ellesmere Port.
Our core member practices are:
- Great Sutton Medical Centre
- Whitby Health Partnership
- Hope Farm Medical Centre
- York Road Group Practice
- Old Hall Surgery
- Westminster Surgery
With a background of opinion that the “NHS is broken” the Great Sutton Surgery (GSS) is providing excellent service. After many years of not needing much from the GSS I find the 8 o’clock phone appointment service works and fixing appointments with other services suchas the Asthma Clinic and blood tests works well.Well done, keep it up area was given a proper listening of my chest and given medication

Keep it up. The only negative in the process is getting through on the telephone initially. Persistence fixes this. At one time, there was a queuing system on the line: you were told what position you were in the waiting queue. I thought that excellent – mitigated the issue: you were answered straight away (albeit with a recorded message) & knew what was happening. This service wasn’t available today. But…this is a minor issue.

The service from both the reception staff and the GP was amazing. Came across as very professional yet friendly and helpful.
